B. H. Timber, Inc. employs professional forestry consultants and a crew of experienced forest technicians to manage more than 16,000 acres of timber and farmland.

Their activities include active timber silvacultural practices, reforestation of thousands of acres of cutover, burned stump land into vigorous young forests and the cultivation of naturally regenerated timberland. The company has built and maintains over 30 miles of forest roads, bridges and culverts and 170 miles of boundary lines.

Annually, the forest technicians plow and maintain forest fire lines to protect they young, growing stands.
We annually market 2,500 million board feet of pine saw timber and 975 million feet of hardwood saw timber along with poles, piling, and pulpwood.

Most of the company's current harvesting operations are from naturally regenerated stands; however, early in the 1980's, the company's plantations started providing timber supplies.

B. H. Timber is maintaining a program of perpetual growth and natural resource renewal as part of its regular forest management operation.
